
PERFORMER
Anna Jacyszyn is an award-winning jazz singer who has performed across England, Europe, Asia, and the Emirates. After 20 years abroad, she returned to her hometown of Kelowna and founded Jazz Café Kelowna, an award-winning monthly speakeasy showcasing top live jazz talent in beautiful venues.
While jazz is her foundation, Anna has expanded into musical theatre through Kelowna Actors Studio with roles including Mrs. Banks in Mary Poppins, Donna in Mamma Mia!, Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, and Betty in White Christmas. She also produced and starred in the sold-out musical "Always, Patsy Cline" and hosts her own sellout concerts including the annual Christmas Presence!.
Anna holds residencies at Crown and Thieves' Prohibition Party and The Old Vines Restaurant at Quails' Gate Winery, working with the region's top musicians. She also writes the weekly arts column "ArtaFact" for the Kelowna Daily Courier and hosts the Rogers TV show "Whattaya Say, With Anna J."
Her accolades include the Civic Award for the Arts, the Okanagan Arts Award for Music, the Spirit of Kelowna Award, and Gold in KelownaNOW's "Best of" public vote survey.
